Book the appointment without sitting on hold
Clinics are busy and phone lines are slow. Leximo calls the office for you, asks for the appointment you need and the details you'd otherwise have to call back about, then sends you the outcome.
How it works
- 1
Describe the appointment
Who it's with, what it's for, the days and times that work, and any questions: do they take your insurance, is it a new-patient visit, what does it cost.
- 2
Leximo calls the office
It calls during opening hours, works through the receptionist's questions using the details you gave, and asks yours.
- 3
You get the answer
The appointment time, who it's with and what was said about insurance or cost — with the transcript and a calendar invite when it's confirmed.
Example
“Call Maple Street Dental and book a new-patient cleaning next week, mornings only. Ask whether they take my Delta Dental insurance and how much I'd owe.”
Booked: Tuesday at 9:30 am with Dr. Novak, new-patient cleaning. They're in network with Delta Dental; the receptionist expects no charge for the cleaning, and X-rays may have a copay.
Why let Leximo call
- No hold music during your working day
- Insurance and cost questions asked on the same call
- Calls from your own number on paid plans, so the office recognises you
- Recording and transcript, so you have exactly what was said
Questions
Can Leximo call in a medical emergency?+
No. Leximo is for routine calls such as booking and confirming appointments. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
What details does the clinic need?+
Usually your name, date of birth and sometimes insurance details. Give Leximo whatever the office is likely to ask for when you create the task.
What if the office doesn't answer?+
Leximo tries again a few minutes later, up to three times. If nobody picks up, you're told so and the calls aren't charged.
